Poll Just Out: Hillary Clinton at
the Bottom of the Heap
By Carrie K. Hutchens
I just took a poll of
the people around me and it was unanimous -- no votes for Hillary!
What makes any other poll fairer or more unfair than the one I just
conducted?
There was a time when
I respected polling and thought there was some positive benefit to
conducting them and studying the results. I suppose that was when
companies, candidates and others truly wanted to know what the
people thought. It was before the rigged questions with answers that
were likely to get a specific (and determined) end result. It was
before the rigged polls were used to sway public opinion. After all,
there are some people who go with the numbers, rather than deciding
for self. And, by wording the questions just so... one can often
plant other false information in the minds of unwitting people. The
Terri Schiavo case comes to mind.
The first poll I saw
regarding Terri Schiavo was asking if one thought she should be
taken off life-support, as though she were on a ventilator or other
such machines. It sounded as though they were all that were keeping
her alive, but that was certainly not the case. However, all these
many years later, there are still those people who are positive that
Terri was brain dead and merely kept alive by machines breathing for
her and to keep her heart pumping. The false message was planted and
it stuck. Stuck so much so that no amount of proof to the contrary
seems to have any affect on their belief. Amazing!
Then we have Hillary
& Bill Clinton that seem to want to rewrite history -- trying to
give us a different version than the one we saw or heard first time
around. Bill was always opposed to the war and Hillary didn't
actually vote as she did? We must be mistaken. Guess they hope we
all have bad memories or some special faith in their words as being
gospel according to a Clinton. After all, we are asked to believe
that Bill didn't inhale and that he didn't know what he was doing
with Monica was considered "sex".
Who are these people
that are getting polled and think so much of Hillary Clinton, if
they even do? Is it really "her" or is it the desire to beat the
Republicans, with the political machine having everyone convinced
that she has the power to mow over anyone and everyone in her path?
It's a wonder in my mind.
Doesn't it matter to
anyone that the Clintons have shown us that they believe there is
the law and then there is a special law for them? One set that means
they can do whatever and we are suppose to over-look their wrongful
behavior? Over-look or condone, since it seems that they think they
have some special privilege awarded to them and them alone?
There has been
article after article pointing out the many faces of Hillary. She
doesn't even seem to be trying to hide the fact that she is putting
on performances geared to the particular crowd in the audience at
any given time. So which character is the real character? What would
we "actually" be getting if Hillary Clinton did make it to the White
House?
It's not like the
votes can be taken back, if someone like Hillary wins and we find
out it was a mistake and we don't want what we got. We're stuck at
least four years with whatever happens. And since a great deal can
happen in a very short time, we need to be very, very careful about
who we show support for. We need to be as sure as possible, within
the world of politics, that what we think we are getting is what we
are getting.
The Three Faces of
Eve was interesting reading material. However, I don't think The
Many Faces of Hillary is a story I want to be a part of. I must not
be alone, because the poll I took a little while ago, certainly
shows Hillary Clinton at the bottom of the heap! But then, how
reliable are poll results?
[ ] Always (when it
is what I want to hear)
[ ] Sometimes (Always except for when it's
not what I want to hear)
[ ] Never (when the results are not to my
liking)
