A System Flawed!

I was reading an article that reminds me why I am not impressed by what our court system has become. In theory, the system, as designed, is impressive. But it seems that we have become too bored, too careless, or even too self-absorbed to maintain the balance necessary to assure the system continually functions as intended. How can a "christian nation" write its laws in such a way so as to legalize concealing the truth?,,,our righteousness is as filthy rags. In my opinion; the man killed two people by his crime and his lawyers helped kill the second victim.

I believe the original intent was to prevent this type of injustice.

Stepping beyond the witten law itself...

What type of police investigation was there?

What about the prosecutor?

What about the judge & jury?

How did innocence get past them?
