John McCain's latest ad points out that Barack Obama is a product of the corrupt Chicago machine.
Rather than examine these connections, the "mainstream" media would rather talk about Sarah Palin's religious faith and books she didn't ban.

Having been born and raised in Springfield the corruption and methods of the Chicago Machine are well-known to me and all Illinoians. The political power in Illinois is centered in the Chicago mayor's office and is distributed according to one's willingness to tow the party line. Chicago alderman are the next in line after the mayor's office and they and un-named party bosses select individuals that can be literally sold to voters but then manipulated to do the bidding of the bosses. That is the story behind Obama. Illinois is arguably the most corrupt state in the country and now the Machine hopes to export that to America at large. Change, indeed!
