It seems Stan Adelstein's push-pollers can't (or won't) even pronounce his opponents' names correct.
From the Letters to the Editor of today's Rapid City Journal:
Candidate’s push polling won’t sway vote away from another
Stan Adelstein is at it again. I received one of his push poll calls the other day. Sorry to disappoint Mr. Adelstein, but the flat-out misrepresentation of Elli Schwiesow won’t sway me to vote for him. Although I admire him for giving back to our community with his donations, I disapprove of his actions elsewhere.
I’m disappointed with his meanspirited financial support to the opponents of good, honest, hard-working fellow Republicans like Bill Napoli, Sam Kooiker and Elli Schwiesow. I’m also bothered that each time I’ve received a push poll call, the person dictating it completely annihilates Sam Kooiker’s and Elli Schwiesow’s names, even after I’ve corrected them.
My vote will be for Elli because she best represent my views. She genuinely cares about our community and state and will work hard for the people here. She has fresh ideas concerning education and the economy. And most important, she has pledged not to raise taxes! So my vote will be for Elli Schwiesow, no matter how many deceptive push poll
calls I receive.

When a guy will send out a nasty flier calling someone he opposes a "wingnut" on the eve of an election--especially a mayoral race where ideology shouldn't be an issue--as Stan Adelstein did last year, I suppose mangling the names of your opponents is probably a step up in behavior.
