Thousands of Us Magazine Subscriptions Canceled

This is very good.

NewsBusters reports between 3,000 and 10,000 people have cancelled their subscriptions to Us Magazine after the blatant political double-standard between Barack Obama and Sarah Palin came to light.

In case you missed it, it came to light a couple of days ago that while Us gave the Obamas a rosy, lovey-dovey puff piece, they came out with "Babies, Lies and Scandals" for the freshly announced Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin.

For Obama, no "Obama's Ties to Domestic Terrorist" or "Obama Hangs with Racist, America-Hating Preacher" or "Barack's Wife Was Never Proud of America" or "Why Barack Defends Infanticide" or "Campaigns, Slum Lords and Appeasement." No, just smiles and "Why Barack Loves Her."

Check out the covers...and one that somehow never got govered.

Can you feel the love?

Can you feel the hate?

The one that got away (i.e. didn't get printed).

Although the "mainstream" media is already suffering from lost readers and viewers, this sort of thing should be happening more...a LOT more.

If more people would speak up about their outrage concerning the blatant bias of a profession which proudly juts its collective chin in the air while proclaiming "objectivity," these pompous elites might just get the message.

And if not, at least we might diminish their influence or put them out of business altogether.

And make way for more balanced news coverage.

But hey; this is a start.
