We have yet another terrorist group endorsement of Barack Obama.
From Newsmax comes word that Abu Yahya al-Libi, one of the top al-Qaida commanders in Afghanistan, is praying that President Bush and the Republican Party will be "humiliated."
"O God, humiliate Bush and his party, O Lord of the Worlds, degrade and defy him," Abu Yahya al-Libi said at the end of sermon marking the Muslim feast of Eid al-Fitr, in a video posted on the Internet.
When the enemy of your country opposes a particular party or policy approach, that should speak volumes to you, shouldn't it?
When the group that blew up nearly 3,000 of your fellow Americans in one day is hoping for a particular political party to be "humiliated," shouldn't that tell you as an American in what direction your vote would best be cast?
That is, if you're a red-white-and-blue American, right?

The following were comments from some of America’s enemies celebrating the 2006 elections that swept Democrats to majorities in both houses of Congress:
Iran’s supreme ruler issued a statement declaring that having Democrats in charge “is actually an obvious victory for the Iranian nation." Hugo Chavez issued a four-hour speech waxing on about his comrades, the Democrats.
Al Qaeda-in-Iraq’s leader, Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, had this to say, "The victory day has come faster than we expected." (Referring to the war in Iraq.)
Al-Muhajir continued, "Here is the Islamic nation in Iraq victorious against the tyrant. The enemy is incapable of fighting on and has no choice but to run away." Adding, "The American people have put their feet on the right path by ... realizing their president's betrayal in supporting Israel.” Concluding, "So they voted for something reasonable in the last elections."
But just so there was no doubt about what their ultimate intentions are, he added “We haven’t had enough of your blood yet. We will not rest from our Jihad until we … have blown up the filthiest house, which is called the White House."
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had this to say, "Since Washington's hostile and hawkish policies have always been against the Iranian nation, this defeat is actually an obvious victory for the Iranian nation."
Hugo Chavez was equally excited: “We see [the Democrats’ win] with optimism, not for Venezuela, but for the world.”
Clearly, the choice of America’s enemies is the Democratic Party. And why not? They all seek the destruction of America and the end of our role as a world leader and beacon of freedom for the world.
