Ground Rules for Liberals

Steve at Sibby Online has some of the ground rules for liberals posted today.

I know; you've had a hard time figuring out what those were. They seem ever-shifting, ever-modified, often illogical and often seemingly at odds with other rules.

You are not alone in your confusion.

But diligent observers of liberals in their native habitat have managed to nail down a few, and though Steve has more, I'll provide a few here in preview:

1. Any Democrat is qualified for any position anywhere at anytime.

2. All Democrats are brilliant. Just having a D by your name makes you an
intellectual giant.

3. Republicans who knock other Republicans deserve fawning press-coverage. Exception: when that Republican becomes the presidential nominee and he picks a pro-life governor from insignificant backward state for his running mate, he becomes Satan. His previous good acts are null and void.

Y'know, those "rules" can easily be flipped around for conservatives.

1. Any Republican is qualified for any position anywhere at anytime.

2. All Republicans are brilliant. Just having a R by your name makes you an intellectual giant.

3. Democrats who knock other Democrats deserve fawning Fox News coverage.
