Michelle Obama has apparently come a long way in her appreciation of America.
"What a country"
"For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country"
"It's easier to hold on to your own stereotypes and misconceptions, it makes you feel justified in your own ignorance...That's America"
Hmmm. My love for and pride in my country has never been dependent on my winning something or someone I love winning something.
What does that say about you when the level of your patriotism is based on the level of your personal gain?

And the First Lady's level of patriotism has WHAT to do with anything?? Even if Michelle Obama truly wasn't proud of America until her husband won the nomination, how would that affect foreign policy? National security? The economy? Education? Gas prices?
How many flag pins does this woman have to wear before you're satisfied?
Just one flag pin would be nice.
What does the First Lady's patriotism have to do with anything? Do you possess any powers of deduction or analytical thought whatsoever, Anonymous?
Michelle and Barack are husband and wife. They live together, they talk together, they sleep together. What husband do you know who isn't strongly affected by his wife's attitudes and opinions (and vice versa for that matter)?
Throw in Obama's association with an unrepentant domestic terrorist who bombed the U.S. Capitol and still hates the United States...Obama's attendance for 20 years at a church with a racist, anti-American pastor...Obama's praise for and association with members of Islamic terrorist organizations...and any rational mind has to seriously question the president-elect's love for America and his commitment to the welfare of America.
That's what Michelle Obama's loathing for our country has to do with it.
