Author and Victim of Child Abuse Outraged
With Government Duplicity in the Murder of Children

FRESNO, Calif., Oct. 21 /Christian Wire Service/ -- In the past two days we have seen the national news report on a horrific act of child abuse in San Francisco. The fate of Lashaun Harris's children has captured the country's attention. But as a society, we regularly ignore clear warning signs of ongoing child abuse.

T.E. Church began writing at the age of eight. It was at first, an escape. As time dragged on and life became horrid, it turned into survival.

Church states, "It is unimaginable to me that as a nation we can be so compassionate to so many people around the world, and do so much to lessen the suffering of mankind in so many far flung regions of the world, yet in less than a week the horrendous action of Lashaun Harris will not only be completely forgotten but you can absolutely count on Ms. Harris receiving the best possible mental and physical health care available. There is something wrong with this picture. Had this process been reversed Ms. Harris' children would still be alive and not at the bottom of the San Francisco Bay."

"It seems to me the world is fascinated with addiction, with people who choose to destroy their lives and the lives they touch. I have survived battles beyond comprehension. My life, as terrifying as it was, helped me to help others."

About Where The Heart Lies:

There have been hundreds of stories about child abuse and neglect. 'Where The Heart Lies' is the first book ever written on the subject of child abuse and neglect as seen by the victim of the abuse in real time, as it is happening.

T.E. Church has captured the volcano of conflicting emotions that erupt inside the heart and mind of a child caught in the middle of the horrendous actions and inactions of uncaring parents. 'Where The Heart Lies' is a straight-forward, unapologetic narrative of life the way it was for a child whose parents were hopelessly addicted to drugs.

His descriptions of the people, places, things, and emotions that affect him directly, are alternately heart rending and hilariously funny. You will feel what he feels, see what he sees, understand what is actually happening to a child of abuse and neglect the way the child sees it, in language that is uniquely his and sometimes overpowering to the reader. 'Where The Heart Lies' is so intensely descriptive that you will not merely read about the child, you will become that child. You will actually feel the torment, love, and raging emotions that ebb and flow throughout the telling.

"This book was written with the sole intention to help. It is a true story and one with great need for support. I have fought an amazing fight to find peace. Please help me to get my story to the public, more importantly the families that need it."
