World Relief Promotes Rx for Survival Documentary BALTIMORE, Oct. 28 /Christian Wire Service/ -- World Relief encourages viewers to watch the November 1st premier of "Rx for Survival". Maryland Public Television will air the 6-part PBS documentary that assesses the current state of global health. Focusing on children, the "Rx for Child Survival" outreach campaign zeroes in on an area of global health in which each of us can make a dramatic and positive difference. In the developing world, more than 30,000 children die
every day from hunger or easily-preventable illnesses. Malnutrition leads to
half of all childhood deaths in poor countries. Approximately 13,500
children die each day from four World Relief's child survival ministry is saving thousands of lives in impoverished nations around the world through low-cost, high-impact solutions.
