Canadian Political Activist Touring US: Canada's Leftist Political Establishment Pursues Cultural Conflict with US WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Canadian political strategist and national critic of Canada's left-wing and anti-American Liberal government, Rev. Tristan Emmanuel is touring the United States Dec. 13-17 networking with key leaders in America's social conservative movement. Several years ago, at the start of the war on terrorism, Emmanuel organized the largest "Canadians for Bush" rally in Canada. This was an attempt to push back against the open anti-Americanism that was being fomented by the Canadian Liberal government. "I'm traveling the US for two reasons," said Emmanuel. "First, to warn influential American activists that Canada's leftist political establishment continues on a course of cultural conflict with the US - and one that they want to export to the U.S. (through the United Nations). And second, to urge Canadian Snowbirds to remember to vote in Canada's federal election next month, showing solidarity with their American guests by voting the anti-American Liberal government out of office on January 23, 2006." (Info on voting is at end of this release.) "From nasty anti-American rhetoric and measures to suppress freedom of speech and freedom of religion to sloppy border security and condemnation of America's so-called "gun culture," Canada's liberal establishment is set to bring monumental cultural conflict between our nations," said Emmanuel. "I want Americans to know that the Federal Liberals don't speak for Canadians like me," Emmanuel added. "American social conservatives have already seen the negative impact Canadian public policy has had on their country," Emmanuel added. "Canadian precedent was cited in the Massachusetts court when they ruled against marriage last year. And Canadian bureaucrats are some of the most anti-family, anti-free speech and anti-American forces that Americans have to contend with at the United Nations," he said. While down in the US, Emmanuel will work to organize a summit for the new year - a Canadian and American Coalition for Freedom and Heritage Summit. "I am looking forward to some exciting and profitable meetings with these key American cultural leaders," said Emmanuel. Canadian Snowbirds need to visit the Elections Canada website http://www.elections.ca/content.asp?section=ins&document=index&dir=snow&lang=e&textonly=false to download the necessary form. Fill out that form and FAX it back to 1-613-998-8393 or 1-800-363-4796. Elections Canada is then supposed to mail a voting package to you, which includes a ballot that you must mail back to Canada. The ballot must be back at Revenue Canada by 6pm Jan. 23 to be counted.
