Discussion at 'Roundtable with Ambassador' with Mr. Martin Peled-Flax, Former Ambassador of Israel to Belarus
Institute on Religion and Public Policy Invites You to a Discussion at 'Roundtable with Ambassador' with Mr. Martin Peled-Flax, Former Ambassador of Israel to Belarus and Minister Counselor on Domestic Political Affairs at the Embassy of Israel

WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 /Christian Newswire/ -- Recent developments in Israel are potentially perilous for Israel's political scene. A possible departure of Ariel Sharon from politics may throw Israel and the entire Middle East into a political crisis, endangering peace prospects in the Middle East.

As Israel faces new internal challenges, this roundtable is an opportunity to learn more about the goals and objectives of the Israeli government as a regional stronghold of civil liberties and democratic principles.

Roundtable with Ambassador is an open, cooperative forum held monthly to provide Ambassadors and interested human rights and religious freedom organizations the opportunity to interact in an off the record dialogue on issues of mutual concern and interest. The Roundtable is an opportunity for honest and open discussion regarding the civil, political, religious, and human rights environment in countries represented by the ambassador.
