Fr. Frank Pavone Lauds Passage of Idaho Abortion Information Measure MEDIA ADVISORY, April 11 -- “By hearing more of the truth about abortion, more women in Idaho will now save their babies lives and save themselves from years of torment,” declares Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life. “More children will live thanks to the Idaho legislature.” The Idaho House passed legislation Monday to require doctors to provide women with information about the medical risks of abortion at least 24 hours prior to the procedure. The measure also stipulates that women be informed of the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the unborn child to be aborted. The Senate had previously approved the bill, which now goes to the desk of Governor Dirk Kempthorne for his signature. “It’s inconceivable that anyone could oppose giving women accurate information about abortion,” states Fr. Pavone, “Yet, that’s exactly what the pro- abortion lobby does. It’s telling that the so-called pro-choice advocates don’t want women to make informed choices.” Priests for Life is the nation's largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia.
