Faith and Action and Rev. Rob Schenck Make Top 20 List WASHINGTON, April 12 -- Faith and Action in the Nation’s Capital and its founder, Rev. Rob Schenck (pronounced SHANK) have been listed among the top twenty Christian organizations in America. Faith and Action is the only Christian missionary outreach to government officials located immediately across the street from the US Supreme Court on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The list is published by The Church Report, America’s leading online Christian resource for church leaders. Rev. Rob Schenck, an Evangelical minister, and his identical twin brother, Dr. Paul Schenck, a Catholic pastoral associate, co-founded the organization in 1994. The Schenck brothers have been teamed up in ministry for nearly 25 years. Prior to their work in Washington, the Schencks co-founded two Christian schools, an advocacy program for the homeless and an international Christian humanitarian relief agency. Between the two, they have authored three books and have done countless radio, television, newspaper and magazine interviews. Their work has been featured in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Baltimore Sun, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Times and Washington Post. The Schencks have appeared on every major television network and been heard on the top radio news and talk shows in the country. Other leaders and organizations on the Top 20 list include Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice, Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries, Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life and Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family. The entire list can be viewed at http://www.thechurchreport.com/content/view/1256/32/
