Will it Take a Miracle to Retire Pro-abortion, Senator Robert C. Byrd?

SUMMERSVILLE, WV, May 1 /Christian Newswire/ -- The question has been raised, “will it take a miracle for Senator Robert C. Byrd to be ‘retired’ from the U.S. Senate?”

The answer, of course, is yes.

Will it take a miracle, perhaps even greater than the first, for a Republican challenger to the U.S. Senate to spend less than $2,500 of his own, hard earned money to win the primary election over five other candidates, the front runner having spent tens of thousands of dollars of his own personal fortune?

Again, the answer is yes.

Lastly, would it take a miracle for any candidate who is Pro-Life, Pro-Family & Pro-Christian, and whose platform is based solely on Morality, to win an election to a national political office?

Once again, the answer is yes.

The simple truth is this: Unless you are a rich lawyer, a multi-millionaire businessperson, an heir to a vast estate, a Hollywood superstar, or a person being financed by powerful and wealthy special interest groups, it would literally take a miracle to win any, national political office – especially from an incumbent, career politician like Senator Byrd.

If miracles are needed, why even make the attempt to run?

Quite simply, because I believe that immorality, not terrorism, is the greatest threat to the national security of America. Immorality prevented us, long ago, from properly securing our borders and has led to the current illegal immigration crisis gripping our nation. Immorality has led to the violent deaths of 45,000,000 children in their mother’s wombs and put at risk all who are elderly, handicapped or who are non-producing members of society. Immorality has caused the United States to remain dependent upon foreign oil and to do precious little to help develop alternative fuel sources. And, immorality, has led to the seemingly endless scandals of every kind that have reached even to the very highest levels of our federal government. All of these, and many more too numerous to mention, have put the United States far more at risk than Osama bin Laden or Saddam Hussein ever dreamed of achieving.

Immorality has toppled corporations, undermined professional sports, compromised the integrity of our military, put to death millions of our children, bankrupted our treasury, and created a government that quite often appears out of touch with reality.

Now is the time for Christians of all denominations and people of all faiths to rise up, vote, and elect Moral men and women into office. Now is the time to reverse decades of Moral decline that threaten the very existence of our great nation. Now is the time for a Moral change of leadership in West Virginia.

Now is the time for - Paul J. Brown, Republican challenger for the U.S. Senate. Please remember to vote in the May 9th primary election.
