G-d's Own Biological Proof; Lucky Penny Films Announces the New York Premiere of 'A Sacred Proof'

NEW YORK, May 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Lucky Penny Films announces the New York premiere of "A Sacred Proof," directed by Yehuda Freeman, on Wednesday, May 10th/ 8:05 at Village East Cinema. According to Stuart Alson, director of the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival "we were delighted that "A Sacred Proof" was selected for its world premiere in Los Angeles where it won "Best Science Documentary" and we are even more delighted to have it screen again in the Independent Film Capital of the World. Yehuda Freeman is a remarkable film maker with a powerful film that should fascinate our New York audience."

Inspired by an article in Harvard Magazine challenging - "any researcher who can prove intelligent design within an acceptable scientific framework . . . Nobel and Templeton prizes will not be enough recognition!" – "A Sacred Proof" takes us to Brazil, the Middle East, and a "Mystical Camp" in the Catskills where the Old Testament is studied on its deepest Cabbalistic levels. It’s a real place, being the summer extension of Hadar HaTorah, a Brooklyn Yeshiva where such famous people as Bob Dylan and Matisyahu have come to learn. Asked if he believes he’ll win a Nobel Prize, Yehuda replied, "you never know. I mean, think about all the awards for scientific research that has yet to be proven true. The proof my film presents has yet to be proven false so why not? It’s in G-d’s hands."

The film’s website www.asacredproof.com  offers a 68 second trailer depicting it as the story of a pool hustler who stumbles upon an ancient irrefutable proof for G-d’s existence. Although to some it may sound like a "creationist" film, Yehuda, who has been studying the Torah for thirty years, claims that since the proof is biological it transcends trendy appellations. "The truth has to be publicized," he says, "because scientists never get passed "In the beginning . . ." the first statement in the scroll G-d dictated to Moses letter for letter, exactly as it has been handed down for over 3300 years. And in a world of terrorism, killer storms, incurable plagues, and a panorama of false gods, it will definitely help you to know where to direct your prayers."
