Fleet for Little Feet Visits Canton, South Dakota

Pregnancy center on wheels takes care to South Dakota communities

With the debate over the abortion ban heating up in South Dakota, women from across the state will gather for a public program to share their views on abortion and its impact on our community. The program is planned to christen the maiden trip of The Fleet for Little Feet. The state-of-the-art pregnancy center on wheels will journey across the state this summer, stopping in dozens of smaller cities and on reservations, offering free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, option counseling, STD testing and more.

Today, June 26 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M., women from the group ALIVE will offer their true-life accounts of the long-term effects of abortion, the blessing of adoption, and the rights of women. The program will be held at the Jack Fox Park in Canton, South Dakota. (Rain location is Canton High School.)

The Fleet for Little Feet was made possible by the generous donation. The homey interior of the pregnancy care bus will give all those struggling with an unplanned pregnancy a sense of security and hope. Tours of the The Fleet for Little Feet will be available.
