Recent Developments Signal a Pro-Life Change in Political Climate

After a pro-life victory for parents and families in the Senate yesterday, and a political attack against pro-life organizations in Sioux Falls, the www.VoteYesForLife.com  campaign released the following statement today:

“The evidence is unmistakable. Americans are beginning to realize that abortion hurts women and kills human life.

“Yesterday, the Senate passed the Child Custody Protection Act, a bill that makes illegal the transporting of minor girls across state lines to obtain an abortion without parental consent.

“Today, the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a pro-abortion group, wavered from their national mission of monitoring government entities and government officials. Instead of tracking government, they filed a vicious, false attack on two local non-profit organizations that serve women, teens and families with a message of pregnancy prevention first and helping pregnant women choose to give birth to healthy babies.

“The battle lines are being drawn right here in South Dakota. Those who want abortion-on-demand to remain legal are terrified that South Dakota will vote Yes on Referred Law 6. The winds have changed, and the new message being carried is that abortion-on-demand ends here. Vote Yes on Referred Law 6.”
