If
you like what Dakota Voice
is doing and support our efforts,
you can partner with us.
Dakota Voice, formerly a
conservative newspaper called
The Bird, was established in
2005 in Rapid City, South Dakota
with a print newspaper and online
version. The
print version of
Dakota Voice had subscribers in
over 90 South Dakota towns and was
offered in dozens of churches and
businesses around the state. The
website sees visitors each month
from all around the world. In 2007,
Dakota Voice became
exclusively online in blog format,
continuing to offer both exclusive
and syndicated content.
Dakota Voice is routinely
rated the #1 most influential blog
in South Dakota on a weekly
basis, according to BlogNetNews.
Dakota Voice is linked to
by hundreds of other websites around
the country, and our content is read
by a world audience via news
aggregators like
Google News.
The mission of Dakota Voice
is to provide news and commentary,
often from a Christian worldview,
which is not strained through the
filter of the
liberal media. We
seek to bring our readers
information
not found in
"mainstream" media outlets, and to
magnify important information which
is
marginalized in the "mainstream"
media.
We do not pretend to be unbiased,
but rather have an allegiance to the
truth where ever it is found,
regardless of what political party
it benefits or indicts. Our intent
is not to provide "balance" by also
giving you the liberal slant (you
get plenty of that through the
"mainstream" media), but to be fair
and accurate.
If you agree with this goal and
would like to help Dakota Voice
continue and expand our coverage,
you can be a part of our efforts
with your financial support.
